Cedar Point Roller Coasters--2009

We have waited a long time to go to Cedar Point. There was supposed to be a storm but the rain was supposed to clear by 8 a.m.

Gary and I had agreed that I would spend the morning with Lexie and he would ride the coasters with the kids.
The big rides closed because it rained all morning. Lexie and I decided to make the best of it.

The kiddie rides stayed open. We got soaked but had a blast conquering all the kid rides.
She loved the kiddie roller coaster (Jr. Gemini). She wanted to ride by herself so I got to try to get a pic.

Do you love her hands in the air or what!
Lexie and these 3 little kids stayed on the hopper for about 30 full minutes. The lady would just re-start it over and over, and over again. She was soaking wet!
The bumper boats were just her size! When the rain got really bad--she had to resort to bumping into the guy who ran it because all the other little kids fled the scene!
After waiting in line for over 4 hours and never going on a ride--it was time to switch. Gary and Lexie had a blast re-discovering the kiddie land. I was informed that "Dad did a lot better job than you did mom".
After a morning of standing in the rain, the big kids were ready to PARTY!!
Brandon was a good sport and went on the Witch's Wheel with Brady. Not for me, thanks anyway!
I didn't bring my camera but I was able to get a few good pictures with my cell phone.

All the walk ways were lit up with color changing lights after dark. We decided that Cedar Point was about the same price as prom and would be a lot more fun.
Waiting in line is so much fun!
But they made the best of it.

Click on this link to see a point of view ride of the Millenium Force. We went off it at night but this will give you a good idea of what it was like. 310 feet tall, 93 miles an hour! My kind of ride. It was a blast!

I would go to Cedar Point, except I would have to bring a bottle of Dramamine for all the motion sickness that runs in our family.:) I am glad your family had fun.

It was a blast. I learned to never go backward or upside down and I am fine! Speed and heights didn't bother me! You guys should go do it.
