Alyssa's last-First Day of School Picture!! (except for college, sniff-sniff)
The first day of school was August 18th. It was super early this year. We went shopping the weekend before. After 7 stores, Alyssa hit the jackpot at Aeropostale. Usually she doesn't like their clothes but she found a bunch of really cute stuff this time. She will be a senior this year.
We scrambled at the last minute to get clothes and supplies for everyone. Brandon is so easy to buy for and he found several shirts and a pair of shorts. He only likes jeans that fit a certain way so we continue to hunt for jeans for him. Last year he found some he liked at American Eagle but they are $$$ so he has to wait until payday for those! :-) They are so cute on him though, it will be worth the wait.
Brandon was such a good big brother and took his picture with Lexie. She was so excited to finally be an all day student with recesses and school lunch! She teased Brady about the fact that she would have recess and he wouldn't. He was not amused.
I looked and looked all summer for school clothes for Lexie. The night before school started, Walmart got in a whole bunch of really cute clothes! They had a bunch of stuff in her size. We had a little spree. Her first day was so, so hot. The building is not air conditioned and she came home dripping with sweat. She isn't teasing Brady now.
It is just finishing being built and the entire building is air conditioned! The cafeteria has 4 52" flat screen TV's for the students to watch during lunch. He isn't sad about losing recess anymore. Lexie would gladly trade him too!
I missed them all greatly this week. I am happy for them but sad for me. As the years pass faster and faster I realize how soon I won't be taking first day of school pictures anymore. Then I will be taking first day of college pictures instead! :-)

Your children all look so grown up and most of them are. Great job on the shopping I know that it was your favorite thing in life. Ha Ha. Tell everyone hi from us. Love you lots.
Good luck Hales kids!
How did they get so big. Seems like forever since we have seen you guys. Who let Brady wear the big zero on his shirt, it's not nice to put such ugly clothes on your kids, they might feel bad about them selves :-)
Oh and your yard is looking GREAT!
Time does fly. I heard the new Jr. High was awesome, how fun for Brady. Good luck with school for all of you.
