Flat Stanley!!!

Dear Mrs. Riser's Class,

We were so happy that Parker sent Flat Stanley to visit us. While he was in Ohio Flat Stanley got to go to the park, out to lunch, watch movies, and he even got to visit the Toledo Zoo.

Flat Stanley was a lot of fun. He got to see sea lions, polar bears, hippopotamus, elephants, and many other zoo animals.


It was very cold so Flat Stanley's friends had to wear their coats and gloves the entire day.


After the zoo, Flat Stanley and his friends stopped at the mall for a snack and to do a little shopping.

It was a very fun day for everyone and we really enjoyed Flat Staney's visit!

Happy Birthday Papa Rod!

Brady thought of a genius present for you. He wanted me to get it for you at Christmas but I couldn't find one. I feel a little dumb that after waiting for the spring merchandise to his the shelves; I still couldn't find this elusive gift. Alas, I had my wonderful brainstorm to BUY IT OFF THE NET! yesterday :-((. Sorry it will be late but Brady is so excited that I hope it will be worth it!

In the meantime, Alyssa thought it would be fun to have each of us record you a special birtday message. We hope you enjoy this blog. We love and miss you.

I breathed a sigh of relief just now. Gary and Brandon just walked in the door. I hope I can get all the videos to upload before you get home from work! Ahhhhhh!!!!
K, the videos took about 30 min. each. So here is Brady and Lexie. Man, I am having a terrible time with this.

I will call mom when I am finally successful so you can see your grandbabies that love you!
