Trying My Hand at Senior Pictures.

After about 3 years of owning my fancy camera; Alyssa agreed to let me take her senior pictures.

We had a lot of fun. I have had this barn scoped for a really long time and I loved shooting around it.

Alyssa was a great sport about the whole thing.

And very patient with me as I took a long time to set up and she got eaten by bugs!

I hope to get to do these again. The sun was going down and I was rushing.

Some of them were a bit out of focus. I need more practice.

Which one do you think she should put in the yearbook? I like this one a lot.

She likes the ones where she isn't smiling. I much prefer the smile!

Again with the lighting! Grrrr....I need to figure out my filters. I am ready to take a class.

I love both of these where she is walking away. I really like the one above where she is turned and looking back with the road behind her and the road in front of her. Very metaphoric and artsy. Ok, back to work. :-)

This is the other "yearbook" one that I just love. Again, she doesn't like the smile.

I like this one too. I hope she picks it for the yearbook.

I like the full or 3/4 body shots but I need more practice and they won't look nice in the yearbook. Dang!

This log was so cool. We had a great time using it for a prop.

Alyssa--you are beautiful, beautiful. And, to know the heart and mind behind the face...blessed are those who get to be in your life!
